Re: [sc-dev] Help Tree in Help menu?

I suppose that's matter for debate. My original notion was that you don't mess with the existing menus. This could be extended to allow for access to others.

Whether this should be documented, I don't know. With this scheme you can't get the Help menu or the original item as instances, so I suppose they're safe.

I noticed that I was able to add my own stuff to the help menu as well

possible?

In any case, really great this help menu in miniature!

Well the tree code was already there, so really just providing the
extra menu stuff. Nice when things come together easily, though.

Okay, I've done this.

The Help menu is not accessed as an instance of CocoaMenuItem, but is instead indicated as a Symbol. That way you can't do something stupid like try to remove it. I suggest we don't make this 'public' for now, but keep it as private functionality. This could be easily extended
however to allow one to access any standard menu.

This is really nice, especially since the font is smaller than in
regular menus.
