Im using the 2 sed-lines to convert everything in my own installation, it takes ca. 0.8 seconds while installing things and certainly improves

linespacings in all the help-files.

This hack could easily be run as part of installing for instance scel.

I was thinking exactly this. It wouldn't have any drawbacks besides
the existing ones (i.e. it's already impractical for linux users to
submit doc modifications directly) so if it improves the usability in
w3m-el, let's do it!

If there're no rendering issues, then we may as well add it to SC.app and convert the help files. That way linux developers won't have doc that is out of sync with svn.

Why is it currently impractical, btw?

Would you mind sending a patch for adding this to the scons install
step? I'd like to try it out on my little linux.
