Ok, this is what it looked like to me when I peeked at the JSC classes,
but I simply have not worked with swing much beyond trying ot see if my
gui worked with it (which it did to about 90%).

as sciss has now mentioned, GUI.stringBounds is an exception. So I'll
simply put it that way in the docs.
