I wrote to repoduce the problem:
You may try this:

{ Ringz.ar(WhiteNoise.ar(1), 410, 5) }.play //CAUTION turn down your
monitors as LOW as possible, as this will blow up

now stop the synth and run this:

{ Ringz.ar(WhiteNoise.ar(0.0001), 410, 5) }.play //this will hurt too
beware!
