yes, SC's html is horrible. Ideally we would have had a simple HTML
scheme of divs and spans with a style sheet.  If such a thing can be
implemented largely automatically some day, then it would be great.
There seem more important thing to concentrate on, however. I don't know
a good solution to this issue at the moment.
