I will commit the proofread docs in batches with the note "proofread".

A second or third pair of eyes would certainly be helpful. Once they are
proofread, feel free to change anything I missed directly. Just remember
to refresh the syntax-highlighting on the code examples before
committing a change (because of the OSX-bug).
