I just did an update and rebuild, ran the EZSlider helpfile example.
Works perfectly, none of the symptoms you describe... I'm afraid you
really have gone insane. Sorry to break the news.

Try temporarily disabling all extensions/quarks and see if that makes
things behave as expected?

I don't have swingOSC on this machine, so it ain't that

how? I'm not a Pen user, but the helpfile examples kind of look like
they're doing what they should... do you have test code?
