Try whatever you want (e.g. SCD...): EVERYTHING is an image file extension :-) So the issue is to choose something uncommon... From my tests on win here in the lab, there's no problem in using ctrl+right click to "open with", i.e. opening the file with rtf format and a different extension with e.g. MSWord. The real problems arises when one chooses extensions used by system. In that case, the "open with" is normally not available. Because of this, sc* is intrinsically difficult (e.g. scr = screen icon, sct = script, etc) scrt works fine, but it' s 4 chars. rsc (--> Rich SC) is the best candidate: it is uncommon on win and mac, and works fine (rtfd --> rscd?.)
