Re: [Sc-devel] RC4 ...

Ooops.. in RC3, I put a readme stating that they had chosen to download a package without the options. I didn't do this last night.

Either way is fine with me. I can upload a new one today.

In the "slim" download there's still an "Optional installs" folder
containing a readme. Can't remember if that was there before, but it
contains instructions that are a bit meaningless when things aren't
bundled with it. Not really a problem for the RC. But maybe the distro
script needs tweaking?

I meant to bring this up after RC3 was put up.

I don't think we should offer a download without the optional
installs. New users will be confused by this and there isn't anywhere
to explain what is optional directly on the SF downloads page. The
size difference is also not significant (anything less than 20mb is
pretty good when Apple is doing 300mb+ system updates).
