I've had a time based section for my tutorial on the back burner for

Hmmm... I've already started on something to cover this. Do we need multiple tutorials covering that territory?

Well, the tutorials have always been a funny area of the doc. With the exception of JMC's original there hasn't been an 'official' one, just various ones contributed, which means there definitely is overlap already. However...

I had the thought last night that the best place for what I had in mind would be a few new sections in the "getting started" tutorial. So we have a handful of options:

- I write my material, add it to "getting started"
- I write my material and create a separate tutorial for it
- I stop what I'm doing and we go with Scott's work
- We both finish up our writing and put both in the documentation

I didn't realise you were intending to add this to Getting Started. Given that I'm probably busy enough anyway, why don't you go ahead and add it there, and I can make any additions or adjustments, or merge in my stuff, later on when I get a moment.
