There can only be one instance of the global Volume per Server. You can add more by hand using the Volume class, but I don't think you have to worry about multiple instance of the global Volume happening by accident.

I thought about it but I came to think it was useful to be able to
switch that on and off from the keyboard. For example in a soundcheck. You can hit the mute button on/off without having to stare at a screen.

I couldn't really picture that this button would be focused often in
a performance.
(and in any case it's much less serious than turning off the server).

But if there are other good opinions for making it unfocusable
then I don't really care.

ok, this makes sense.

what about remote servers and multiple people using them? will the
volumes be added to each other?
