I can't test right now, because compiling from latest svn (on PPC Mac)
gives this error:

powerpc-apple-darwin8-gcc-4.0.1:
/Users/dan/SuperCollider3/Source/lang/LangPrimSource/SC_Speech.M: No
such file or directory
powerpc-apple-darwin8-gcc-4.0.1: warning: '-x objective-c++' after
last input file has no effect
powerpc-apple-darwin8-gcc-4.0.1: no input files

Looks to me like you changed the Xcode lang project to look for
"SC_Speech.M" rather than "SC_Speech.cpp"... but I can't imagine how
this would have happened by accident...?
