Hi all,

While the list was off, Alberto and I talked a bit about the grain UGens and the panning. What we basically came up with (and are proposing is):

1) allow mono output from TGrains
2) make all the grain UGens, when output is stereo, behave like Pan2 (-1 is left, 1 is right). TGrains already does this, the Grain UGens pan like PanAz (-1 is back, 1 is front).

This would only change the behavior really of 2 channel grain UGen output, and since these are relatively new (and came out post 3.1) should break little if any code.

How does this sound? I can work on them next weekend probably if this sounds good.

Best,

Josh
