And, IMHO it is not that a problem to rely on an additional packege
for download. There is e.g. the mantissan site where you can just
grab a svn .dmg with an installer.
I'm sorry, but I know that for non-technical users and sc students it
is absolutely a problem, as is the futzing around with certificates.
It keeps people from just using something that's supposed to make
there lives easier.
IAC, why have that hassle if you could avoid it? If you explain this
situation to someone learning quarks and sc they'll ask: Why should I
have to do that? Can't they make it so it just works?
