[Sc-devel] Re: [sc-users] Psycollider 3.1 Testing

Hi,

after being in DLL hell and back I think I have found a solution that will make installing PsyCollider much easier. Please have a go on

http://www.dcs.qmul.ac.uk/~frauenberger/PsyCollider.zip

it contains a simple setup.exe that should do everything for you (i.e. installing the appropriate runtime libs and PsyCollider in your Program Files folder).

Please send me your feedback while I try to incorporate the following for a release:
* new plugins (onset detection etc.)
* fix FFT UGens (I probably need your help on this Dan)
* fix the TempoClock bug
* add regex parsing
* incorporate the HIDServer in the package (if thats ok with you guys, would be nice and sort of completing the port)

best
Chris

Hey Chris !!

Great!!

I will definetly test it when my student brings his PC next week,
in the meantime, you might know if there is a trick to Buffer.read
on PCs, I could read the paths with pathMatch, but could not
read with the Buffer method.

Cheers

Right-click Mark and then Ctrl-C, I know its ridiculous...

I have a IBM x34 with windows XP 2002 service pack 2. I have
installed Python 2.5 and wxpython, maybe this is colliding?
That should not be in the way, no... Most likely, there is a dll
missing that I have (without knowing it...) and you dont. Have you
run the vccrt.msi that comes with it? This installs the MSVC dlls...

Cheers
Chris
