Seems inefficient to rewrite the scsyndef files on every library recompile. Wouldn't it be better to read the SynthDescLib and then check whether the required synthdefs exist? If they don't, then they should be .stored. Or, maybe easier, do .writeOnce for the required defs and then SynthDescLib.global.read.
