Seems inefficient to rewrite the scsyndef files on every library recompile. Wouldn't it be better to read the SynthDescLib and then check whether the required synthdefs exist? If they don't, then they should be .stored.

Or, maybe easier, do .writeOnce for the required defs and then SynthDescLib.global.read.

Sorry to be a bug about it, but unnecessary file writes are one of my pet peeves.

And I also agree that the messages should be turned off.
