[sc-dev] [approve] Server-freeAll check for server running?
I'd like to add a serverRunning check to Server-freeAll as follows.
<x-tad-smaller> freeAll {
serverRunning.if({
</x-tad-smaller><x-tad-smaller>"/g_freeAll"</x-tad-smaller><x-tad-smaller>, 0);
</x-tad-smaller><x-tad-smaller>"/clearSched"</x-tad-smaller><x-tad-smaller>);
</x-tad-smaller><x-tad-smaller>this</x-tad-smaller><x-tad-smaller>.initTree;
});
}
</x-tad-smaller>
Reason: I have this in my startup.rtf, so that I don't have to type out the code when I want a debugging server (I only have to do Server.named[\debug]):
\debug, "127.0.0.1", 57110));
If I hit cmd-period, it sends messages to the debug server, popping up a DebugNetAddr window, which is kind of pointless if I haven't touched the debug server.
Is that going to break anything? Can't imagine it would... if the server isn't running, there's nothing to free.
