Okay, I just tried it on a non-admin account. It throws an error the first
time a class tries to write a def after compiling. With a bit of futzing I
did manage to get it to boot a server app, though, so I think that's fine.
I imagine moving the synthdefs folder (and recordings/) to somewhere in ~/
should solve this. There could just be symbolic links to the folders in
the SC directory to make it easy for the user to track them down.
A little less tidy, but if we're already putting stuff in
~/Library/Application Support/ I suppose this isn't any worse in that
regard.
