Re: [sc-dev] libsndfile static linking

ok, i think i found it. if the directory containing libsndfile.a contains a libsndfile.dylib as well the the dylib get linked dynamically. after i removed the libsndfile.*.dylib from /usr/local/lib and rebuilt, the problem went away. i'll upload a snapshot in a moment.

this link told me about the situation:

there is no error, but when i build the xcode projects and start the app on a machine lacking /usr/local/lib/libsndfile.a it fails to start. console says:

dyld: /Users/andi/SuperCollider3/build/SuperCollider.app/Contents/MacOS/ SuperCollider can't open library: /usr/local/lib/libsndfile.1.dylib (No such file or directory, errno = 2)

i have troubles linking libsndfile from the xcode project. anybody any hints? other than that, i switched to panther, so binary snapshots should continue to be released regularly when this problem is solved.
