Since downloading a snapshot is the only surefire way
non-developers have of obtaining a buildable SC3, perhaps
the timestamps on these binaries (with matching source code)
could serve as low-cost version numbers?

I don't like the word 'roadmap', but it might be nice to have one for
SC...
