proves only that the redraw in the posting window is
queued while GUI stuff goes on. So ignore the
TempoClock example from previous mail. 

But is there any send OSC messages queue thread whose
priority is eclipsed by the GUI updates grabbing the
mutex? Had a peak at schedRunFunc in SCLang code so
might start wildly speculating about 

pthread_mutex_t gLangMutex 

which SCView/SCDocument shares with the scheduling and
probably grabs too readily- for whole duration of
certain UI actions in SCVirtualMachine.M? But I'm in
past my current knowledge here...

I don't mind looking ignorant of the SCLang threading
internals if only there is some resolution of the
issue...
