Re: [sc-dev] james, gui systems question

I went back to a model more like sc2. Since in scserver the lang is going to be doing timed events, I don't want its thread blocked by graphics calls. The sc3 gui library does all the drawing in the language primitives.
This would not be good for timing.

the older sc3d gui system seems to only be partially working now.
did you just start work on the newer, simpler one ?
SCWindow SCButton et al.

i'm just looking for any basic comments about the systems. i can figure out the
internals okay i think.

i think its healthy to have alternative gui systems. i can clean and segregate them.

any advice on the older one ? i liked the VLayout etc.
it was a bit slow i remember on sc3d os9.
