[sc-dev] james, gui systems question

the older sc3d gui system seems to only be partially working now.
did you just start work on the newer, simpler one ?
SCWindow SCButton et al.

i'm just looking for any basic comments about the systems.  i can figure 
out the
internals okay i think.

i think its healthy to have alternative gui systems.  i can clean and 
segregate them.

any advice on the older one ?  i liked the VLayout etc.
it was a bit slow i remember on sc3d os9.
